This just in - a 1968 Shelby GT500 KR Fastback in Wimbledon White over Saddle interior! Fully documented in the Shelby Registry, and with full owner history and original factory build sheet in hand! An exceptional example of one of the hottest Shelbys ever made.
This is one of just 530 GT 500KR 4 speed fastbacks produced, and one of only 10 in Wimbledon White with Saddle interior. Options include power steering, power brakes, tilt and automatic swing away steering wheel, AM radio, Deluxe interior, Traction-Lok rear axle, plus all standard Shelby features. All original Shelby and Ford id tags are in place, including the body buck tag, fender vin tag, dash tag, and original Ford door vin tag. In addition to the original build sheet found in the car, I also have a Deluxe Marti Report in hand documenting the car.
A fantastic rust-free car with flawless non-undercoated floors and beautiful paint, it was also recently treated to an extensive, no expense spared mechanical restoration at Cobra Automotive, with all receipts in hand. Following that, the car has just been detailed and completely gone through by a renowned MCA Concours Judge who is the respected authority on 1968 Shelbys.
The interior is near perfect and the car is in "as-new" mechanical condition. It runs, drives and handles as good as any KR I have ever driven. As a bonus, it is truly "King of the Road"! This baby is fast!
